My crockpot gets used ALOT in the fall and winter months so of course I was ecstatic when I came across a macaroni and cheese recipe. Not like it isn't hard to make but I love the difference in taste this offers. We from time to time add ham or bacon in for a twist.
1 1/2 cups dry macaroni
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. velveeta cheese, sliced*
1 qt. milk
Mix all together in the crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hrs, stirring occasionally.
if the budget is super tight I might just use shredded cheese double the amount to make up for the creaminess of velveeta.
The kids love it and is another crockpot recipe. it comes out crusty on the edges and is really good!
It's not 'Postive Reinforcement'. Dammit.
