Peanut Kisses Cookies

These sound tastey. Maybe not great for the scale but yummy all the same:0)

Peanut Kisses Cookies

1 bag of milk chocolate Hershey's Kisses unwrapped
1/2 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
extra sugar

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In an electric mixer, beat butter and peanut butter. When well combined, add sugar and brown sugar. Add egg, milk, and vanilla. While that mixes well, use a separate bowl to sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry mixture into mixer. Mix well, making sure to scrape down sides of mixer bowl.

Place some extra sugar in a dish. Use your hands to roll dough into small 1 inch balls then roll in sugar to coat before placing them on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 7-9 minutes. In my oven 6 minutes 45 seconds is PERFECT.
Remove from oven and immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie until the edges crack slightly. Use a spatula to transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.

Special instructions for brides, grooms, and lovebirds alike: While still warm, bring a plate of cookies with a cold glass of milk and two straws. Tell your sweetie that you made some special "kisses" to trade for a real kiss! Pucker up, and enjoy!
