Little House Primer

A lot of this we already had used, some is new to us but thought I would post the whole thing here from the free link I just posted for easy find for us later and maybe others. Given the current state of economy I decided it was time to break out our Prairie Primer studies again as it is time to really get back to basics. We started this series years ago when we were first homeschooling prior to our move to Colorado. Should you decide or maybe already use this curriculum please post your experience or things done that might help us or someone that reads this.

My family has had great success using the Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder in our home lessons. It has proven to be one of our favorite literature unit studies.

I have used these activities to compliment the Little House on the Prairie books. They are in no way meant to plagiarize the books or any of the resources mentioned or detract from all the hard work of their authors. Rather, they are ideas that are original or that have been modified and re-worked for my own family’s personal needs. I am now sharing the activities with you in the hopes that you can find them fun and useful as well.

This index is organized by book, but each article can stand as an independent activity. You don’t necessarily have to complete these activities in any particular order unless otherwise stated. There are some overlap between books as far as useful activities go, so you will see some of the activities listed under more than one book. Active articles will appear as underlined links.
